Gerald D. Partin of Las Vegas passed away on September 28, 2024. Jerry, as he liked to be called, was born in Portales, New Mexico to LJ and Ethel Partin on July 5, 1945. When he was 10 years old, his family moved to Southern California, where he spent most of his life before moving to Las Vegas in 2020.
Jerry’s career started in a family radio business, which he ran for many years. Later, he worked in various aspects of financial services including the mortgage loan business, insurance and securities.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 22 years, Kathleen Partin: four children, Terry Partin (Trisha) of Florida, Mary Partin and Christina Lipovsky (Ronald) of California and Beverly Partin-Gillett (Curtis) of Las Vegas; stepson, Christopher Bryan of California; six grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. He is predeceased in death by his parents, three brothers and one grandson.
