On the morning of December 21, 2022, Jesus Morales passed away peacefully at the age of 73. He is survived by his wife, Ruby, five children: Johnny, Israel, Juan, Christian, and Jessica; and seven grandchildren. He was a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother, and a friend to many. He found deep joy in family and loved taking care of others.
Over the course of his life, he owned several businesses and was creative in how he made his living. Early on, he was an illustrator for a local newspaper in Mexico. He owned a small food kitchen, selling Mexican food. He was a collector and reseller of all sorts of goods. He retired from Station Casinos as a truck driver and would continue to co-own and run a housekeeping and cleaning service with his wife, Ruby.
He enjoyed fishing, reading, futbol, music, cooking, photography, and was a fantastic comic. He loved making people laugh and always had a joke ready. He had a tough and private exterior but would often soften in his later years. Hearing his stories was a blessing.
His memorial service will be held January 26, 2023 at 6:00pm at La Paloma Funeral Services in Summerlin on 2551 S Fort Apache Rd Las Vegas, NV 89117.

I’ll always remember Jesus singing along with the “50’s” music channel to himself or out loud to Ruby and the twinkle it brought to both their eyes. He will be missed.
